Customer Service Hours

Regular business hours are Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. PST. We are closed on all US legal holidays. All e-mail received after regular business hours will be responded to as-soon-as-possible. You may also call us at 509-552-1504 from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. PST. Outside of these hours, you may leave a message and we will call you back. Because our employees work on other projects, email is our preferred method of contact.

TERMS OF SALE AND BUYER'S ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF TERMS OF USE

Legality of Products

It is the responsibility of the Purchaser, not Online Security Products, or any employee of said company, to determine and comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations in regard to the purchase, possession and use of all products offered by the Online Security Products. Purchaser assumes all liability or damage resulting from the use, misuse or unlawful use of any products offered. By placing an order, the Purchaser agrees that all products will be used in a legal and lawful manner in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws.

Prepayment

Prepayment, in United States currency, is required before product(s) may be shipped. Payment includes shipping and handling charges and, where applicable, sales taxes. Acceptable forms of payment include Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express, as well as money orders, cashiers checks. Public safety, law enforcement, educational and governmental entities within the United States may also pay via departmental accounts. With prior approval, Online Security Products may accept checks drawn on business accounts. In all instances involving payment by check, the Online Security Products reserves the right to postpone shipping for 10 business days or until the check clears the bank.

Shipping

Most domestic shipments shall be sent via UPS or US Postal service with delivery confirmation. For the protection of our customers, Online Security Products performs an address verification on all orders. We regret that we can only ship to North America and selected international countries. On all international shipments, Purchaser is responsible for all additional import tariffs, fees, and taxes that may be due and payable upon delivery. Additionally, the shipping costs & delivery estimates quoted on our site only apply to the contiguous 48 states. Hawaii, Alaska & international residents please email us to request a shipping quotation.

Drop Shipping

To expedite shipping, sometimes it is necessary to ship products directly from the manufacturer or our distributors to our customers. We call this type of shipping "drop shipping". Online Security Products does not charge additional shipping charges to customer's orders because of a change in shipping distance as a result of the drop shipping.

Address Correction Policy

It is very important that we receive a complete and accurate address for drop ship orders. Because UPS charges us a $5.00 fee for an incomplete or wrong address shipped by ground and a $10.00 fee for an incomplete or wrong address shipped by air, we are forced to pass the charges on to you. If you are assessed an address correction fee it will be charged to your credit card and we will e-mail you a copy for your records. *Please note: We do not ship pepper spray or other chemical products by any overnight service or by priority mail. Use UPS regular ground service, or parcel post with the US postal service.

Tax Exempt Purchases

We are required to charge sales taxes in Washington state unless a copy of a tax exemption certificate is on file with Online Security Products prior to receipt of order.

Sales Refusal

Online Security Products reserves the right to refuse the sale of any equipment to any individual, business, or organization, when it is feared or believed that the equipment may be used for immoral and criminal purposes or the sale violates any applicable federal, state and local laws. Additionally, Online Security Products aggressively acts to prevent credit card fraud. We utilize all of the latest technology to screen and verify the authenticity of each and every order. We reserve the right to refuse any sale if we are unable to verify card holder or delivery address.

Order Cancellations

We make every effort to ship your order as soon as possible. Once an order has been placed online, phone, mail or FAX, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to cancel the order before it is shipped.

Order Tracking

Upon receipt of your order, we will confirm with you, by email, when we expect you order to be shipped and by what carrier. Please allow 7-10 business days following shipment for all "ground" shipments to be delivered. If your order does not arrive as scheduled, please notify us by email or phone. We will investigate using the tracking information provided by your carrier and will update you with the delivery status.

Manufacturer's Warranties/Product Warranties

Online Security Products does not warranty the merchandise we sell. All warranties, either stated or implied, are the sole responsibility of the product's manufacturer. Because manufacturer's warranties vary from item to item, please refer to the documentation that accompanies your purchase for warranty details.

Returns & Refunds

Returns will not be accepted and no refunds will be issued after 15 days of postmarked receipt. All sales after 15 days are considered final. If within the 15 day window you wish to return an item, the return is subject to a 25% (percent) restocking fee.

*Please note that this does not apply to all of our products. Certain items can not be returned*.

Each product returned must be in its original condition and ready to go back on the shelf or a higher fee may be applied. This includes the item and its packaging. For example, make sure that there are no price stickers (or residue from where they have been removed), or tags on the unit or the packaging. All returns require a return authorization number (contact us for an RMA #). The cost to ship the product will be paid by the customer. For your protection we recommend that they be shipped with tracking information and insurance. If it is sent by postal service, use delivery confirmation and insure the package. If going by UPS you can use regular ground service. Insurance is not needed unless the shipment exceeds $100 in value.

If you should need to return or exchange your purchase within 15 days:

  1. All packages shipped back to Online Security Products MUST be in new and resalable condition, in manufacturer's original carton and contain all original packaging materials.
  2. Include the original packing slip (or a letter) stating your name, order number and reason for your return or exchange.
  3. When shipping merchandise back, cushion the item(s) in a sturdy box and secure with strong tape.
  4. All returns must be mailed to: "Online Security Products" Attn: Returns - 1339 7TH Street, Clarkston, Wa, 99403 " unless we give other instructions.
  5. Return the package prepaid (Sorry, we cannot accept COD's)
  6. For maximum protection, insure your shipment for full retail value.
  7. If returned merchandise is found to be damaged, tampered with, or otherwise not in a resalable condition, package shall be refused & returned to purchaser at additional expense.
  8. Refunds may take up to 14 days to process following receipt of your return.

*PLEASE NOTE: Due to the unique nature of some of the products we sell, purchases of the following items are considered final and shall not be returned for a refund. Contact the manufacture for warranty repair:

  1. Radio frequency detectors, phone tap & room bug detectors, phone tap nullifiers.
  2. covert, hidden, or "nanny watch" type cameras; surveillance cameras, gas masks, quick escape masks & smoke hoods
  3. Products damaged by misuse, accident, unauthorized repair, or other causes not within our control.
  4. GPS and cellular products experiencing reception problems caused by signal conditions or cable or antenna systems outside the unit.
  5. Tasers, Stun Devices and Chemical Sprays.

However, defective items may be exchanged within 15 days of receipt of the original shipment, Exchanged items shall not be returned or re-exchanged for another item. If your item has been damaged during shipping please e-mail us immediately at Customer Service for instructions.

Note: You are responsible for any and all shipping costs to Online Security Products, Its agents or returns to manufactures for warranty repair or replacement.

Such devices are intended solely for use in the United States. 911 emergency services are not available in all areas. Analog cellular service is not available in all areas. Prior to your order of these items, you must call your local emergency communications office and verify that wireless 911 service is available in your area. You should also remember that the availability of wireless 911 does not mean your GPS or cellular device will always work. If you are in an area with insufficient cellular service, the call cannot be placed. Further, even if you contact emergency services, the emergency service provider may not properly respond. You must also remember to keep fresh batteries in your GPS or cellular device. Current Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Regulations require cellular service providers to pass all 911 calls through to all 911 emergency centers that have requested the calls regardless of whether the call originates from a cellular service provider's paid subscriber. Should FCC regulations change, 911 access may be modified or eliminated.
