When purchasing the M18 Taser, we must conduct a background check prior to shipment of the Taser. If you do not have a clean background please do not order an M18 Taser.
A background check is required to activate the C2 Taser. So if you have a criminal background, you might not want to bother ordering a C2. Once the C2 Taser is delivered, you will need to call an 800 number or go online to register your C2. This will also activate the C2 Taser and allow it to operate. This only takes a couple of minutes and full instructions come with the C2. It costs $9.95.
